Resort has 35 spacious self-catering studio's and suites situated
either on the beachfront overlooking the lagoon, beside the
shimmering pool or amid the lush tropical gardens. This personally

side of the Island provides guests with an unspoilt view of
Rarotonga's exotic sunsets. Only 8 minutes drive from the main town
of Avarua and just minutes from the Golf Course, the Resort is

restaurants serving a variety of local and international cuisine are
within walking distance of the Resort. For self-catering, each
suite features a fully equipped designer kitchen with microwave

lessons are available from a qualified PADI instructor right here in
our own swimming pool. So if you have always wanted to have a go –
here’s your chance. When you are confident and comfortable –
discover the wonder of the open waters with an experienced team of
professionals. |
 SNORKELLING
– Not keen on the deep water – then discover the beautiful tropical
fish swimming around the lagoon where you are never more than waist
deep in water. Right in front of the Sunset Resort is some of the
best snorkelling on the island where you can feel safe and secure.
Snorkelling equipment is supplied free of charge to all guests – all
you need is the bread to feed the fish… |
 DEEP SEA
FISHING - With several charter fishing boats to choose from
you will be spoilt for selection if Deep sea fishing is your sport
of choice. With Yellow Fin Tuna, Mahi Mahi, Marlin, Wahoo, - just to
name a few – all swimming just outside the reef we can organize a
relaxing day for you and your friends with highly experienced

 SWIMMING
- With two beautiful pools within the Sunset Resort and the ocean on
the doorstep swimming day or night in the beautiful temperate
climate of the Cook Islands is a must. White sandy beaches surround
the island – swim at a different beach every day or just enjoy
soaking up the sun on the glimmering sandy shores. |
 KAYAKING
– Kayaking is a popular pastime on the Muri Beach side of Rarotonga
in the safety of the lagoon surrounding the Motu’s (islands). Take
lunch out to the Motu and watch the time slide by – or hire a glass
bottom kayak and be amazed by the colour and beauty of the fish
swimming beneath you. |
 WINDSURFING
– Hire a windsurfer from the local sailing club and glide across the
shimmering waters of the lagoon and around the Motu’s at your own
speed. |
 WHALE
WATCHING – Between the months of August and October Rarotonga
is lucky enough to have whales visible just off the lagoon on the
western side of the island. Stand on your deck and watch these
