Rooms - Garden View
Enjoy our beautiful garden in one of
our spacious garden room. These rooms are spacious and well fitted with
Polynesian colours and decor. All rooms bring together modern

standard than garden room and closer to the beach. These rooms have a
lot more space and again the tropical colours of the island are seen
right througout the units.

The Edgewater Studio Apartments
are spacious, modern and offer value for money accommodation. All studio
apartments are fitted with air conditioning, 1 queen size bed and a
single bed, dining suite, refrigerator and light cooking facilities with
kitchenette along with satellite television and an inhouse movie
channel, ceiling fan and private bathroom.

Suites - Beachfront Deluxe
These are the newest addition to the
Edgewater Resort, 24 Beachfront Suites located just meters from the
waters edge. These spacious suites are spread out over a three story
complex with great views of the white sand beach, sparkling lagoon and
coral reef beyond. The Edgewater resort is located on the sheltered west
coast of Rarotonga which means that these suites in particular, have
fantastic views of the spectacular tropical sunsets. What a great way to
spend an evening in paradise... sipping on a mouth watering cocktail on
your private patio or balcony as the sun sets in a blaze of colour below
the horizon!
These new Beachfront Deluxe Suites are spacious, and feature ensuite
bathroom complete with romantic spa bath, and seperate shower. Each room

The Edgewater Resort & Spa is
pleased to announce the opening of its 3 Bedroom Executive Villas.
These spacious 3 Bedroom, 2 Bathroom home away from home family houses
are ideal for those traveling with children or friends traveling
together.
Each villa has a full kitchen, with modern appliances, breakfast bar,
fridge/freezer, 4 Burner stove with oven, dining suite, laundry
facilities, BBQ, air conditioned living area and outdoor furniture. The
master bedroom has a walk-in wardrobe, ensuite bathroom with shower and
toilet and fitted with a king size bed. Each villa can comfortably
accommodate up to 6 adults or 4 adults and 2 children.
The Edgewater Resort & Spa Executive Villas are a great accommodation
option. You will enjoy the privacy of your own self catering villa
whilst having full access to the great range of services and facilities

Legal Requirements
You will need to bring:
Valid passports. Original Birth Certificate.
If you have been previously married:
Decree Absolute/ Divorce papers. Death Certificate of Spouse.
All people wishing to marry in the Cook Islands must be of 21 years
or older and must apply for a marriage license in person at the
Registrar’s Office a minimum of 3 days prior to the ceremony. However,
it is possible to have this requirement waived upon application if you
wish to marry within the required timeline. This will require an
additional fee and upon filling in the application form, the rest can be
handled by the wedding consultant whom you will need to advise upon
making your booking. Also, while marriages in the Cook Islands are
recognized internationally, it is advisable that you check with marriage
licensing authorities in your own country for their local marriage
requirements.
*NOTE: A 15% surcharge applies to all weddings held
on Sundays.
Ceremony Details
Your dream wedding can take place on our white sandy beach overlooking
the deep blue lagoon, with the surrounding palms swaying in the ocean
breeze and the fragrance of tropical flowers in the air. If your tastes
are more traditional, you have the option of a church wedding at a local
community church. For a more exotic setting and a truly magical
experience, we also provide you with the option of marrying on the
breathtaking island of Koromiri Motu.
Time:
Magnificent tropical sunsets are an everyday sight at Edgewater, given
the resort’s location on Roraotonga’s spectacular West Coast. Most
couples choose to exchange vows as the sun sets on the horizon in a
blaze of vibrant colours, usually around 5.30pm. However, ceremonies can
be performed at any time of the day, with the couple choosing their
preferred time for their exchanging of vows after their arrival, once
they get a “sense” of timing.
Celebrant/Minister:
Your wedding coordinator can organize for a certified Celebrant or
Minister to officiate at your ceremony. Any questions you may have
regarding the details of the ceremony can be dealt with by your
coordinator, who will consult with the Celebrant/Minister to ensure that
the ceremony is more personalized and tailored to your needs.
Additional Options:
Edgewater can arrange for a host of additional options, ranging from a
photographer, extra flowers, hair and make-up or even entertainment.
Reception Options:
A whole range of fabulous ideas are available at Edgewater for a
flourishing finish to your special day with a reception or celebration
function. Your needs will be catered to by us, leaving you to enjoy the
festivities and share your joy with those close to you.
